How I use the Image Compressor
I drop photos in, pick Medium for blog images and Low for quick WhatsApp shares, then download the compressed copies. A 4 MB phone photo usually lands under 500 KB.
PNGs with transparency stay PNG unless I tick the JPEG option. If a PNG barely shrinks, that checkbox is the fix, JPEG drops the transparency but cuts the size hard.
Nothing leaves your device. The work happens in your browser, so there is no account and no upload queue.

Why didn't my PNG get smaller?
PNG is lossless, so the slider barely moves it. Tick “Convert PNG to JPEG” when you don't need transparency.
