Airtime and data resale that actually nets
Networks sell data at retail. Resellers buy it in bulk cheaper and keep the spread. Here is the math that decides whether it pays for you.
I'm Algorithm Father, and I teach money the way I teach feeds: watch what actually happens, write it down, adjust. Airtime and data resale is the most common first business I see in Nigeria, and most people doing it cannot tell you their margin. They feel busy. Feeling busy is not a number.
The model is simple. Mobile networks sell data to you at retail, say ₦1,000 per GB on a standard plan. Reseller platforms and corporate Gifting lines let you buy the same gigabyte for ₦250 to ₦350. You sell it to a customer for ₦400 to ₦500. The spread, roughly ₦100 to ₦200 per GB, is yours. Nothing about this is secret. The only question is whether your volume covers your time and your failed transfers.
